HILLS! WEREWOLVES! RUN! - HILLS! WEREWOLVES! RUN! 4

Treehouse Orchestra Recordings TOR40

01. Ride Me Satan
02. Ice Mountains
03. Turned Out Nice Again
04. Ice Mountains
05. Lux Aeterna

More of my own music on offer now. Hills! Werewolves! Run! is another TOR band I am part of, and is a completely different sound to We Are The Wooden Houses.

Recorded earlier this year, the new HWR release is heavier and darker than the last. Recorded in three improvised sessions and knocked into shape during post production in the following months. This time channelling Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Pårson Sound and Les Rallizes Denudes.

The physical copy comes with a bonus disc, containing a re-imagining of the entire album, remixed by Stone Tape Theory.

The third edition in the Lammas series and as strong as the previous two. Unfortunately for any Various Artists compilation, the inclusion of Nick Drake means everything else can only be second best.
