Just wanted to convey my sincere gratitude to all those responsible for putting together what can only be described as a spelling collection of volumes of music . Some of which i was familiar with but the pleasant surprises and new directions were many and truly awe inspiring . I doubt a better collection of the genre WYRD FOLK exist , a truly remarkable compendium and road map for the wonderful strange and darkest journeys. mac man

I have now d/l all 14 volumes and so impressed with the results i tasked myself with attempting to find the full albums from whence these jewels came in flac/lossless so every nuance can be absorbed . Quite often the track used was the best on the album which i kinda expected it might given the love clearly gone into their compilation . I am well on the way to completing the enormous task given i wanted the internet to provide as many as possible, i have also purchased 10 cds including the mega awesome Book of AM . However as expected i have drawn a few blanks where there is no cd or d/l available , any assistance in a flac d/l of the whole album would of course be hugely appreciated, Jim Alan Tales of the songsmith is proving very illusive , and both Hedgehog Pie The Green Lady and Self Titled to name but three, mac

I don't know if you'd be interested, but I just finished a five album psychfolk mix that I thought it would make sense to share (no one goes to my old blog, Creepy Powers). A while ago Root Strata picked up an earlier, shorter version of this mix) . Some of these songs were also on the mixes you have shared but a bunch (I think) were not. Please let me know!

This 14 cd compilation is probably the best collection of weird folk ever assembled in one place , that said it seems crazy not to make the actual 14 cds available again to purchase , with all the benefits of a greater quality music this magical really deserves a greater soundstage. The process would be relatively simple as its just a case of burning files to discs . I for one would be happy to supply 14 blank discs if that helps resurrect this process lizardgreen62@gmail.com

Totally in agreement with green lizard this music is spiritual and deserves to be heard in all its decompressed glory rather than low bit rates , and more to the point the effort that’s clearly gone into its compilation deserves to be rewarded , so let’s have these cds available again , kind sir ,

WHAT A TRULY SPELLBINDING COLLECTION OF MUSIC . This would have to be considered a desert island selection fo me and doubtless many here of the discerning who really appreciate a road less travelled is often the most rewarding journey .GREAT PLAUDITS to the kind soul who lovingly put this collection together a true labour of love . Not surprisingly with well over 100 songs I don't like everything however as each volume reveals hidden gems I'm discovering music of the highest order for the first time in some cases . A feast to savour indeed so much so Lord Summerisle himself I feel certain would approve . PLEASE consider the arduous task of making these available again on cd of and maybe less time consuming links to FLAC or other lossless formats so we can enjoy even mote of the assembled magnificence , best wishes , LG

Thank You For Posting This Amazing Series.
Please Can You Consider Reposting in a higher bitrate maybe 320 kbps or lossless FLAC as this is the ultimate quality Acid Folk Collection and clearly very much appreciated from your posts.

Best Wishes

Boz

Not sure given the considerable interest in this wonderful series why there isn't another run of cds , this would ensure the quality issues of lower bitrate is addressed and the stunning collection once again is given the special treatment it clearly deserves , I would definitely be in the queue . I'm trying to compile a lossless version of this album. However, the final track "Dangling (Introduction)" has thus far stumped me. The only "Dangling" I can find is a short instrumental on Tea and Symphony's "Jo Saga" album. Anyone know where the actual Lammas version lives? Thanks!
